Asaiko Cakes
My name is Asaiko, a passionate baker with an unconditional love for everything sweet and delicious. With every creation that comes out of my bakery, I strive not only to satisfy taste buds but also to evoke emotions and create sweet memories that will last over time.
From a young age, I loved cooking with my dad, which sparked my love for the culinary arts. I studied gastronomy but always gravitated towards desserts and cakes. In 2018, I started making cakes, but the beginning wasn't all pleasant. My first cakes had some issues, especially one for my best friend's family, which didn't turn out as I had hoped. This deeply upset me, and I stopped making cakes for a while. I then worked in a sales office and did well, but still didn’t feel passionate about it.
My journey in the world of baking restarted in 2020 during the pandemic. I spent my time sharing dessert recipes on social media since my office job was closed due to the pandemic. After sharing so many recipes, I seriously considered returning to baking. The situation led me to create my first mini cake to cater to clients looking for small cakes due to the lack of large parties and gatherings. Unexpectedly, it was a huge success and remains one of the most requested items due to its size and the special touch I give it.
Without a doubt, Asaiko Cakes is the best thing that has happened to me, and it has taught me that even if things don't always go as planned, I should never give up. In just 3 years, I've grown so much that I can hardly believe it! I still have a lot of room to grow 💕
