So, let's dive right in, shall we? First things first, you have to grab four portions of Fondant, each painted in different shades of the same food color. For example, four Fondant spheres of Minty Marshnallow, but different amount of drops to make the degraded effect.
Once they are ready, place them together, side by side and with a rolling pin, begin kneading them while blending them. Give 'em a good stretch, then flip the Fondant to the other side. Take the top and fold it towards the center, then do the same with the bottom. Keep kneading and working that Fondant until it's super thin and stretchy. Repeat this process until you've achieved that killer degraded style!
Remove the excess with a pizza cutter and knead until fully extended. With your pizza cutter, you can also make a wave effect. Finally, place it around your cake and begin covering it with Fondant. With this, your degraded Fondant cover is ready! If you have any questions, you can watch the full step by step video by clicking right here! See you soon for the next technique!
